I've raised £500 to help 68 year old Linda achieve her dream of Ironman World Championships 2018 in Kona, Hawaii.

Linda Spillane is an inspirational 68 year old retired Teacher who took to triathlon in her later years and never fails to amaze and inspire those around her.
To date she has completed 2 gruelling Ironman Wales challenges - consisting of a 2.4 mile sea swim, a hilly 112 mile bike ride and finishing with a lumpy 26.2 mile marathon run. She has also finished many other running, swimming and triathlon events.
So why this page? Linda is so humble and has recently won her age category (65-69) when competing at this year's Ironman Wales in the toughest of conditions. This means she was offered a place to race at the Ironman World Championships 2018 in Kona, Hawaii. Linda nervously took the lifetime opportunity. Every triathlete's dream is to race Kona but it takes a lot of time, effort, training and financial commitment to go. Linda and Chris are retired Grandparents and I know any donations from crowdfunding will go to good use to help her achieve her dream in some way and we will hear a great inspirational story in return. Let's get behind Linda and let her know she is capable of wow-ing, once again, but this time on the world stage at Kona!
