I'm running the Ragusa Half Marathon to raise vital funds to help children learn to read well and have the one to one conversations that broaden horizons, build communication skills and above all confidence

It's five years since I started Read With Me. The need is greater than ever. I want to be able to double numbers and be in every primary school in the county by the end of 2026.

This run is to also to remember all those who were responsible for getting us to this stage and are no longer here: Pat Symes, my husband Peter White and Carole Olliffe, the best of volunteers.
