Story
Linda is at it once again............back in 2018 Linda Staveley did a similar cycle challenge, as part of the YDP & YAP Charity Fundraising, where she aimed to cycle 501 km over the period of lent, which she completed within 33 days raising money for Prostate Cancer UK & Cancer Research UK (Breast Cancer).
Linda has now moved the goal posts and increased her target to complete this years cycle challenge, again doing this as part of the YDP & YAP Charity Fundraising Events, she is now aiming to complete 600 km between 26th February 2020 & 9th April 2020.
Linda's challenge is being organised to help raise funds for St Leonard's Hospice and Our Lady's Church Roof Appeal. To find out more about the amazing work St Leonard's Hospice do please go to https://www.stleonardshospice.org.uk/About

4 years agoHI folks sadly because of the current Coronavirus situation and the closure of Bannatynes Health Club where Linda was doing her cycle challenge it has now been put on hold. Linda messaged "Due to unforseen circumstances and the gym closing, I'm afraid I've had to put my sponsored bike ride on hold after completing 425k with 175k to go. As soon as this nightmare is over I promise I will complete the ride. Thank you so much for your support x x 🙁🚴♀️" Thanks to you all for your support. We hope you all keep safe. 4 years agoWhat a hero............. Linda Staveley is half way to her 600km total in just 15 days. So 25 days to do another 300km. Said it would be easy..........well it's easy from the outside looking in..... Great effort Linda. Keep those pedals moving..................x Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. She does a fantastic job in helping us fund raise at York Darts Promotions and is going the extra mile, excuse the pun, in raising more funds. Update from Linda on 5th March - To let all you lovely people know who have sponsored me. So far, I have done 182 km in 9 days . So on track to do the 600k in 40 days😊🚴♀️
