Hi my name is Lindsay, I am a 40 year old mum, Myself and my children have had a very rough 20 years, after being Married to a violent abusive man I finally found the courage to leave him and start again, It took all the strength and courage I had to Move on with our life.

I know that I needed a job, and after working in a pub when i was younger, I chose to become a pub landlady and after making a success of the pub, we finally felt happy and settled just as I though we was settled and all happy, I received a text message from my boss at 6am after being there for only 5 months to tell me that me and my kids had just 2 days to move out because the pub had been sold and I could do nothing about it as my boss had messaged me from the air port on his way to go on holiday.

Myself and my kids were left homeless and living in a tent for over a week in the middle of winter before we could get any help, we was then put into homeless accommodation, for a year, that was damp cold and no heating before we was finally given a home. I am fundraising to help pay for me to go back to school, finally my children and i are settled and happy, and I want to show them that we can move on in life, My dream Is to become a nail Technician, and without help to be able to go back to school my dream cant come true.
