Story

Dear friends & family

We want to thank you for all your support over the past 2.5 years. Many of you have supported us practically, prayerfully and financially and we would not have been able to carry on or get through without it.

This journey navigating our way through trauma, Nathanael’s brain injury and ptsd continues to be a rollercoaster of emotions, we try to find something positive in every day though they are so very dark at times. We wanted to share with you how difficult we have found this year and particularly these last few warmer months. Longer days, beautiful weather and the holidays when people flock to the coastline, beaches, camping, woods, forests, hills and parks. You never have to consider accessibility until fully faced with it.

We have quickly and painfully realised we are incredibly limited and isolated without a means for Nathanael to access these places. We aren’t ever asked how days out/places/gatherings can be made accessible to include us. We have realised we need to make Nathanael “all terrain” in order to give him the freedom and independence to go almost anywhere albeit it rocky, sandy, grassy or hilly.

We have found the most amazing powered all terrain wheelchair called Trekinetic. Mountain bike tyres, third wheel rear steering, Formula 1 engineering, powered and lightweight delivering ultimate flexibility and maximum freedom of movement anywhere.

Imagine a world without boundaries for Nathanael

Please help us - give him back his childhood freedom and independence. It’s priceless and those days are so so fleeting ❤️
