Story

I'm raising £2,000 to help Orchard Brae School with various projects, including the installation of an underwater music and aquatic body therapy system in their pool for their students! This installation, from Liquid Listening, will allow children to enjoy sensory music experiences while in the pool and could make a huge difference to children like our son, George! The school are also raising funds towards a new minibus!

From liquid listening: In Musical Hydrotherapy, speakers are placed inside the water in a hydrotherapy pool and the listeners are supported to float on the water surface. Buoyant, the listeners feel the sound vibrations on their body and perceive the music when any part of the head is placed in the water. The vibrations travel through the water and stimulate the inner ear directly, and so the listener perceives the sounds as if they are heard from inside their head.

To raise as much as we can towards these projects, Nick and his friends will be taking part in a charity fundraiser football match at Balmoral Stadium, Wellington Circle on Sunday 31st of August. The match will be between Glendale 'Youth' and The Kickabout Aberdeen (TKA). Kickoff is at 1pm and we would love to see as many of you there as possible!

WE will also be taking part in the Beast Race on Saturday 20th September for the same cause! Any monies donated will be greatly appreciated! Our wave is 12 noon and we can't wait!
