I've raised £75000 to fund cancer treatments not available on the NHS (update: circa £38,000 spent to date. Treatment at £1,500 every 3 weeks).

My Story: “The day you become a Mum is the day you start watching your heart walk around outside of your body”.
My name is Linzi Page, i am 37 and “Linzi’s Army” is fundraising to provide access to cancer treatments that sadly the NHS cannot fund. The funds will give me access to chemotherapy that will prolong my life further and give me access to cutting edge treatments. Any monies not used directly for this cause will be donated to Maggies Cancer Centres and Bowel Cancer UK.
I have 2 young children - Calan (7) and Charlotte (3), who are my world. In April 2018 my perfect world was shattered when I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bowel cancer and furthermore to be told in December it was now incurable. I was fit, healthy and despite rectal bleeding, never expected to be told I had cancer, much less the severity of the diagnosis.
My biggest battle is not the chemotherapy, the surgery or the endless hospital trips. It is the thought of missing out on all the milestones that I should be there to share with my children - 1st day at school, school plays, sporting achievements, their weddings and all their successes. I want my kids to remember that I did everything I could to be with them as long as possible and to make as many memories as we could.
I want my legacy to be filled with joy and laughter. So... who‘s with me?
Linzi xx
