The Lionhearted Christmas fundraiser is creating care-packages for the homeless.

It’s Christmas time once again, a time known for love, joy, peace, magic and the wonderful act of giving. At this time of year, there are so many of us who are spending lots of money, giving and receiving expensive and luxurious gifts, yet there are still people who face a very different situation. Giving is a beautiful act of kindness, so why not give to those who really need it this year. Instead of buying another expensive gift, why not give that money to the Lionhearted Christmas fundraiser.

I couldn’t imagine how tough it is sleeping out on the streets in the cold and wet, with scarce resources of food and warmth. So this year I really want to do something to help them, even just a little.

These care packages will contain hygiene products, long lasting food and some clothes for warmth and cleanliness. One care package will cost about £15.
