We launched on the 30th of March 2007, and we operate totally through the goodwill of our volunteers and our listeners' generous natures.

Our volunteers range from teenagers to the retired. We provide work experience weeks for mid-teens and work with several back-to-work organisations to provide work based-training opportunities. Our youngsters come from a variety of Northumberland schools (increasingly farther from Alnwick) as we are the only community radio station in the area, and we provide the necessary supportive and protective environment for them

This is our thirteenth annual online fundraiser. We run the fundraiser until the 31st of March, and we ask you to please make a generous donation to keep us going for another twelve months.

We are really sorry to be asking, and we feel really awkward about it, because we absolutely know times are hard for a lot of people, but we can't survive without financial help from our lovely listeners.

We want to survive, because we want to keep providing a unique, high quality community radio service to all our listeners. And, we want to continue to provide an environment where local youngsters and adults of mixed abilities can play an active role in community radio and enjoy an experience not available anywhere else.
