Story

On Saturday, A young player, Owen Lovelace was playing football for Liphook United Football Club. After 15 minutes the game had to be abandoned. An air ambulance had taken Owen away with a very badly broken leg. It was an unnecessary challenge but we will not focus on that. Owen has been informed that he will not be able to play football again after his leg was broken in six places. Owen is only 20 years old, so that is devastating news. Owen has also been told he will not be able to work for between four to six months. He is a self employed builder.
The club have managed to secure £250 from our insurance. We also will be contributing £1000 from our emergency fund. The pandemic has effected our finances in such a way that we cannot afford more.

If you could find your way to donate, it would really help one of our players who is facing a few months of hardship. Much appreciated.
