Clare and Emma teach free lipreading classes on the South Coast, these groups are a lifeline for people with hearing loss. We are raising funds to keep lipreading classes free on the South Coast.

Clare and Kim, with support and encouragement from Emma who has sadly broken her ankle, recently ran the Great South Run for lipreading classes in Chichester, Fareham, Havant, Hayling Island, Petersfield, Portsmouth and online via Zoom.

Kim plays an important role in our community group.

Clare and Emma both attended lipreading classes themselves before qualifying as Lipreading tutors. They have both run the Great South Run previously raising funds for classes.

Hearing loss affects millions of people in the UK, however lipreading classes are not funded by the Government any longer. We are running to raise funds and awareness.

The classes also include coping strategies for managing better in a hearing World.
