I'm raising £1,000 for Special Effects - a charity who support people with disabilities, allowing them to use technologies they need. (See link below for more details)

My wonderful cousin, James Brown, suffered from Muscular Dystrophy- he was our hero and sadly he lost his fight against the disease 3 years ago at the age of 38.

We miss him every second of every day and in his name, we support the charities who helped him live a more fulfilled life.

The technology Special Effects provided for James enabled him to communicate with friends and family via internet/Playstation and we are raising money to allow them to give the gift of communication to others in need.

We will also be making a donation to MND from the money we raise and we are doing this as we have been made aware of an old friend who has been diagnosed with the illness and would like to help in finding a cure.

Prescot Cables Vets vs Maghull Over 35s

We will be holding a charity football game at Maghull FC at Tommy Gent Way, Maghull on 1st May 2026 at 6.30pm - all are welcome. Please come along and support us. Bring any spare change to fill our donation buckets. The bar will also be open.
