I was wondering if you could help me and my family. My mum was diagnosed 3 years ago with stage 3c ovarian cancer, she has had many surgeries and back to back chemo with very short remissions in between. She recently had two brain surgeries and we got the news on Friday that she has less than 12 months to live.

My dad passed away when I was 13 to cancer and had I of been older I would have tried just about anything to keep him around longer. I really need my mum to stay with us as long as possible and being the absolute fighter she is I know that she will, however time isn’t on our side. We have organised a fundraiser event in Burnley on the 12th October to raise money for alternative treatments in Germany. The cost of this is extortionate therefore I am relying on the good people of Burnley to help raise the money for my mum!

A lot of people who can’t come to the event have asked if they can still donate therefore I have created this just giving page.
