I sat down with L last night and made some plans and today we have paid off debts, paid for necessary dental work and 'Oscar' was off to the vets for an exploratory op. But can I ask another favour: if you've donated, would you share the link on whatever social media you use? Her friend, I found out, has cancer and he'd pretty much given up, wasn't going for his chemo, but when I said I can help, L tells me he's nervous but excited, and even went to chemo today. I want to literally give him something to live for so want to raise even more...

Just wanted to let you know that I saw L today and told her that I can now afford to support her. She cannot get her head around it, and was in shock, so I'm seeing her tomorrow when she has processed it and what it means. I'm also talking to her friend, who it turns out isn't well, he has cancer, so I'm going to work really hard to get him off the street. I was able to just pay for a hostel space tonight so he could get out of the rain but I've asked him to consider what he needs. So your support really means more than I even realised Xxx

Once again, I find myself completely overwhelmed by the generosity of both good friends, and people who don't know me or L, but who have chosen to donate to give her a life that a few months ago seemed completely beyond reach. All day, I've been hoping to reach the target because it will allow me to help two people in a way that should get them off the streets for good. I didn't do that alone - everyone who donated and shared did that. It's impossible for me to articulate just what it means, but please know you have our eternal thanks 🌟🌟🌟🌟
