Sadly on the early hours of Wednesday 10th of October our poor little roxy was attacked by an out of control large akita dog. The akita dogs owner was not in the park area with her dog also which meant we could not get the akita off our wee girl. she has suffered severe injurys and was taken straight into theatre to recieve life saving treatment . Roxy is a 6 year old lhasa apso and had a litter just under a year ago and we have her daughter lucy who misses her very much. Due to the saverity of the attack and the amount of emergency care roxy has required we have just found out this is going to cost us thousands of pounds in vet fees. No one can quite prepare for a vet bill that size and its well out of the amount we can afford. Ive never thought i would be in a position to have to ask others for help but we have no other choice. If anyone can help with this my whole family would be So greatfull to you. I am not expecting anywhere near the target we need but just anything would be helpful. We just want our wee Girl home. Anyone who has had a pet will understand our hearts are breaking and that she is such a big part of our family we cant just abandon her. Thank you x
