The peacocks have played a big part in the Tutbury Community for years but they are at risk from traffic especially the peachicks. The community would like to set this page up to raise funds for some signs to be made warning that peacocks could be crossing or in the road. The mother peacock and her peachicks are thought to be wild, although its rumoured that they may have links to Tutbury Castle. We would like to have warning signs similar to those that Swadlincote have to alert drivers of ducks in the area.
