Anyone that knows me & Jo, knows that we both have had babies this year. Both full term & very healthy. Earlier this year a beautiful little lady was born at 29weeks & needing lots of help with breathing & feeding, this little lady is now 4 months old & still in Leeds hospital. She is still undergoing a lot of treatment, this brave little lady is still fighting. So me & Jo thought after being touched so much, by one of Jo's best friends we really want to do something for our local special care baby unit at Rotherham hospital. Not only for little beautiful Leah, but for all of those tiny babies born way too soon.
Jack & Daniel Martin were born at Rotherham 3lb10oz each, both now 10 two fit & healthy boys.
Aaron Hopkins born at 26 weeks now 6 years old, growing into a lovely young man.
And also baby Lewis Count born at 27+5, 1lb6oz, sadly gave up his little fight & became a bright little a star at just 8 weeks old.
These units touch & help so many lives, not all make it but who do live to have happy lives, them that don't, well they are the brightest stars when we look up at night.
