Story
The Peter Quinn Friendship Group has given our dad a new lease of life.
Living with Alzheimer’s can be incredibly difficult, not only for the individual but for the whole family too. But every Wednesday, something special happens. Through music, dancing, friendship, and laughter, Dad reconnects with himself and the people around him.
Myself and my sister Emma absolutely love taking him there and seeing the happiness on his face in those moments. Watching him dance, smile, and interact with his friends means more to us than words can say.
What Marion and all of the volunteers provide is truly amazing. Their kindness, patience, and dedication create a place where people feel valued, included, and happy. The group is completely self-funded and relies on donations to continue supporting families like ours.
That’s why, for Dad’s 87th birthday, “Tommy Twinkle Toes” will be dancing for 3 hours alongside his friends to help raise money for this incredible group.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help keep the music playing, the friendships growing, and the joy alive for so many people.
Thank you so much for your support 💙
