I wanted to make my cancer journey worthwhile. Macmillan and Marie Curie have fantastic and much needed facilities but without Here NI I would be a lost soul. They are a very underfunded charity and please help me to make something out of this horrible disease worthwhile.

Here NI is a community organisation and registered charity based in Belfast. They are here to support lesbian, bisexual women and our families to try and improve the lives of L& B women across Northern Ireland. They do this in lots of different ways; through providing information; developing support networks in rural areas and towns; facilitating training; lobbying government and agencies. Offering a community space for meeting and much more.

Without this meeting space and the friends I have made from this group I would be hiding in a darker hole, they have shown me light and hope.
