In Zambia one of the many languages spoken is Silozi. I learnt many words whilst over there but my favourite by far was 'Liseli,' which simply means 'Light,' light can mean different things to different people but ultimately is associated with happiness, hope and life. The aim of the Liseli cause is to provide people with happiness, hope and life.

In January 2018, I travelled to Zambia, Africa to build houses with a charity Called Homes For Aids Orphans. Now it doesn't seem like much to say but in a month my friends and I were able to build two houses for the locals. Whilst there I learnt so much about their culture and although it was simple it moved me and now has captured a Huge part of my heart.

Paula runs the charity out in Zambia and she really has achieved amazing things; built over 200 houses (all with the help of volunteers), supplied clean water pumps to locals so that they don't have to travel long distances and built/funded and supplied a school with all they could possibly need to educate the local children. It was such an honour to be able to contribute to the work!

The reason I want to raise money for Paula's charity is because she is just an incredible lady with so much care to give but as she has minimal money for herself, she can't buy the equipment and has to rely on volunteers to help out as well as other people like me wanting to donate money. By giving money to the Liseli cause you are allowing Paula and her team of staff to continue work without having to wait for volunteers to come (which don't get me wrong is quite often!)

I pride myself on knowing exactly where the money raised will go and This charity is very close to my heart and I really want to achieve great things for her by the end of the year!
