Story

Hi we are a volunteer group formed out of lockdown.

we noticed an increase of litter in the Forest affecting the wildlife, the beaches and the local areas, the group has grown in size and we are now over 1000 strong.

we are looking for help with funding litter picking equipment and if anything left over supporting the forest in providing more bins to car parks without them.

we are grateful for any donation to help us continue our journey in keeping the forest and its wildlife safe And a beautiful place to visit.

come over to our Facebook page to check out what we've been up to. #LitterPickersOfTheNewForest.

Thank You for any contribution made - every penny has gone back into the group to help provide the basic kit needed to help clean up.

To date we have managed to raised £1,680 which has helped fund cheaper kit for the team but its not long lasting and we need better kit to arrange group picks coming out of lockdown heading into the holiday season.

The team are so dedicated to keeping litter off the forest floor, the streets and the beautiful beaches quay area but we need your help to achieve this.

Our problem:

Although the initial funding was well received we have found it breaks when pulling items out of bushes so in itself this adds to us generating even more plastic litter being broken picking sticks and we would like to try to improve our footprint.

Good long lasting quality picking kit isn't cheap..... we are trying to pull an additional £8000 for 150 items of kit so we can spread it out across the group around the Hampshire area.

Thank You
