As we know our friend Helen Beswick is going through hell after the passing of her soul mate Andrew Ward.
Many of us are aware Helen has dedicated her everything to caring for the love of her life Andy, who we know and loved.
Helen cared for Andy for years as he battled with Cystic Fibrosis. Sadly Andy lost his battle but not his fight and passed away in Helen's arms on the 13.11.2016. This was after six false calls for a transplant and three months of desperately ill health; Helen was at his side throughout; strength, love and commitment that is amazing!!

Despite the fact Helen suffers with the ME, has two children had absolutely no help from statutory and other services she carried on supporting Andy and caring for him to the end; she is still caring for others now!

I noticed a lot want to do something but don't know what. So I had an idea...Helen will lose the disability car shortly and with all the mass debts and worries suffered throughout this painful journey, it would be great if we could help by doing that something!

That is if 40 of us friends gave her £50 or 80 gave £25; us friends would have given enough that she doesn't have to worry about a car.

Now is the time to do that something. Helen is very proud so would never ask, she is determined and giving; she gave herself relentlessly and without hesitation; she gave all she has and more regardless of the personal impact upon her. This was because she loved him with her all.

Now, we need to give her something back. Let's give a little something to her to ease the pressure.

I have donated the first £50. I wanted to do something pro active because this world can be a very lonely and heartless place. Helen did not even get the carers assessment or any funding at all throughout this tragic journey; again let down by people who were supposed to help.

Just give a little because I know it will mean a lot.
