Please meet Ickles. He’s a male Shitzu estimated age of around 6 years old.(although he was being advertised as 3years old) He was found wanting a new home after what is believed to be surplus to requirements as an ex stud dog not a loved family pet. At present his circumstances as to how he came to me are a closely guarded secret, but he hasn't had a good life at all so far, He was alleged to have a minor eye problem and dental issues. Upon his arrival to my care he has since had two vet checks. He has undergone extensive dental works, resulting in the little lad being left with just 10 out of 42 teeth, been neutered, and is undergoing treatment for a skin issue. He is underweight and will require a managed diet to address this. He has since seen an eye specialist and the diagnosis was not the best, he is blind in one eye due to years of ulcers and damage done that was not treated, his other eye has a cataract, a stye and about 40% blurred vision due to scaring and damage left untreated. He is a very loving young boy but very wary of people. He just wants lots of lovings and cuddles - but then who dosen't. All monies raised will go towards his current and ongoing veterinary bills, which is expected to be pretty high. This boy deserves a second start to life, some home comforts and not to be mistreated.
