in August 2022, after 12 happy years, the land that our sanctuary stood on was sold by auction and we could not afford to purchase it. We were gifted temporary land on an access track to a woodland by an amazing lady in Wales, but this land is far from ideal. On Wednesday 12th of April our sanctuary was hit by a storm that damaged mutiple aviary's and sheds that house our flock of pigeons. A crew of volunteers managed to put some of the aviary's back together to ensure the pigeons had a safe environment to stay. We will need to replace our equipment to ensure we can carry on our work, continue to care for our current residents and offer a home to new pigeons. We have now started a fundraiser to purchase land of our own for the flock so that we can house them in purpose build sanctuary again. can you help us to reach our target - every £1 helps! thank you so much, Sue and Matt.
