Our New Service During Coronavirus Pandemic

During the current crisis, we have temporarily closed the doors on our Community Fridge. We are still working in the background to rescue good food and feed the most in need in our community at this time of crisis.

We are now delivering fresh food parcels on a Monday and Friday to those who need them who have been referred from agencies such as the Citizen’s Advice Bureau or local council support group or community hub.

Should we have more parcels available than we have referrals then we may offer parcels to the rest of the community, and you will be able to check if we can deliver one to you. This will be announced on our Facebook page as and when we have any available.

Since we are unable to rely on monetary donations for our food rescue at the moment, we are hoping that any extra money donated here will help with our ongoing running costs, and help us save more good food from being wasted.
