I've raised £5000 to support the Little Hiccups charity in a 127 mile sponsored bike ride along the Leeds Liverpool Canal in August 2019.

This year, Leeds based charity Little Hiccups celebrates 10 years of supporting children and families with additional needs. They have pledged to raise £10,000 per month during 2019. Ison Harrison solicitors have decided to help Little Hiccups reach their goal with a 127 mile sponsored bike ride along the length of the Leeds Liverpool Canal in August 2019.
Ison Harrison's clinical negligence solicitor, Anne Robertson, is going to take on this epic cycling challenge with the aim of raising £5000 for Little Hiccups. Joining Anne will be a team of willing Little Hiccups supporters including Anne's husband!
Anne & the team will set off from Liverpool on the morning of 30 August 2019 and ride 70 miles to Burnley where they will stay overnight. On 31 August, they will be hopefully rested and refreshed ready to cycle the remaining 50 miles to Leeds, meeting friends and family at the finish line.
Please will you help support Anne & the team and their 127 mile cycling challenge?
About Little Hiccups
Little Hiccups is a Leeds based, parent led support group for children with a disability or additional needs and their family. Their story began 13 years ago when their founder, Linsay, gave birth to a boy. The joys of becoming parents with all the expected dreams were shattered just a few days later when they very nearly lost Jack to Hypoglycemia.
After weeks of intensive care, Jack came home, only to return to the LGI as the extent of his injuries became apparent. Jack had been left with scarring all over his brain, resulting in him having severe cortical visual impairment, he cannot sit, stand, hold up his head, or use his hands. He cannot speak and has a very difficult to treat form of Epilepsy called Lennox Gastaut Syndrome which means he has 20-30 seizures a day of every different kind. All that said, he is the most loving and inspirational boy you could ever meet.
Staff at Ison Harrison have a close affiliation and special relationship with the Little Hiccups charity and will continue to support their work in the community. Ison Harrison's Head of Clinical Negligence and Partner of the firm James Thompson, is a Trustee of the charity and is keen to support Little Hiccups in raising funds.
Please help us raise funds for this good cause and support Anne's 127 mile cycle challenge!
