Story

Patch, JR, and O Dogg are taking part in this year's Tough Mudder London North event, to raise money for the Little Roo Neonatal Fund, and in the memory of Henry Lynton Yuen.

Henry was delivered by emergency crash c-section following a placental abruption on the 13th August 2017. Sadly, he was starved of oxygen, which made a resuscitation necessary, and resulted in the need of assistance from a life support ventilator. He was blue lighted by ambulance to St. Peter's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where he put up an incredible fight, including breathing unassisted by the ventilator on three separate occasions.

Heartbreakingly, Henry passed away aged one month old, held in the arms of his parents, with his twin brother, Stanley, snuggled up against him.

The Little Roo Neonatal Fund raises money to provide the support that the St. Peter’s Neonatal Unit continues to require, to offer the highest standards of intensive care for babies born who need a little more help at the earliest stage of life. Henry's parents aim to raise a total of £80,000 (the cost of a fully equipped intensive care cot), so that they can give something back to the unit in Henry's name.

Help us help them, by sponsoring our 10 Mile, 20 Obstacle attempt, through the fields of Hemel Hempstead.

And even if you can't donate at this time, you can find out more about little Henry and the Little Roo Neonatal Fund here.

Thank you,

Owen, James and Tom
