Story

During the Coronavirus outbreak many of the most vulnerable in society have faced a heightened hardship. Reduced city footfall has meant the homeless have been unable to receive help and donations from passers by. Lockdown restrictions have also meant Brighton Food Bank has had to restrict their donations to purely financial, resulting in a significant decrease in the amount of food available to families in need.
Following weeks of training to swim the English channel as part of a relay on June 21st, we are disappointed that due to the current circumstances, this is unable to take place. We realise that this hardship is inconsequential compared to the hardship Covid-19 has caused the most vulnerable in society. We are therefore planning on swimming the equivalent distance (35km) along the Sussex coast on consecutive days throughout the week commencing June 15th, raising money for Off the Fence and Brighton Food Bank. These amazing organisations help those in our society who are most in need during these difficult times.
If you can spare any money at the moment we'd be grateful for any donations :)
