Some of you may remember I volunteered at 'The Love of Christ Ministries' (TLC) children's home in Johannesburg, South Africa back in 2014. I was there for 6 months and the experience changed my life, I continue to keep up to date with their news and hope to go back some day.

This week TLC has suffered a terrifying home invasion and really needs some help.. I am currently not in a position to be able to volunteer myself physically but I pray we can raise money to help them through this...

It has been targeted and robbed 4 times this year, but the last two times this week have left everyone involved traumatised... There are currently 30 babies, 20 teenagers and 15 primary school aged children all living at the home. Three of the teenage boys were kidnapped and beaten, and Thea, the beautiful, incredible lady who began this amazing charity was assaulted at gunpoint. They are all at home now but traumatised and worried about their security. The criminals also trashed the office and stole office equipment and took all of the money in the safe belonging to the charity, all of which was donations. These donations are what TLC rely on to look after the 60 babies and children, including buy nappies, wipes, baby formula etc..

They urgently need help so please, please donate any money you can to this charity so they are able to purchase everything they need to look after themselves and the babies and make any improvements to security they might need to ensure their safety! Even if it is a small amount it will make a difference and be greatly appreciated!
