I've raised £5000 to help send students, some from socially and economically deprived areas, on a life-changing trip to the Dallas Cup.

Liverpool Football College are taking 54 students (3 squads) to the world renowned Dallas Cup. Many are from socially and economically deprived areas. They face significant challenges in life. The College aims to transform their lives by raising aspirations. Without the College they may not meet their true potential. A donation of £950 would meet the cost for one student to have a life-changing opportunity.
The Dallas Cup is one of the premier youth soccer competitions in the world, with 180 teams from 40 countries.
The outcomes for local youngsters are there for all to see.
In 2014 we reached the Final only to be beaten 1-0 by the Costa Rican National side. Two of our students gained USA Scholarships and 3 gained trials at Brentford FC.
In 2015 we had 36 students playing in the Dallas Cup International Youth Football Tournament, Texas with 4 gaining USA Scholarships.
In 2017 we won the Dallas Cup and 12 players gained USA Scholarhships.
With your support we can provide a life-changing opportunity for the students. Joe Brooks, from Stockbridge Village, played in 2014 and said, "it was the best time of my life." Joe is now in Hope University training to become a PE Teacher. He says the Dallas Cup experience was an inspiration to him.
Any donation you make will be used to support players, whose families are dependent on Government agencies to supplement their low income.
We hope to be able to benefit from your generosity and community spirit in assisting our young people to take part in the 2019 Dallas Cup. I would be pleased, of course, to answer any queries you may have regarding this project
