Story

Our oceans are precious. But they often suffer the worst, yet unseen, effects of environmental damage. Pollution, plastics and human impact can destroy these delicate ecosystems and the rare species that live in them. We believe that the more people understand about the undersea worlds lying off our coastline, the more they will do to look after them.

That's why we created The Living Coast Undersea Experience. Now, we need your support to reach even more people.

Imagine being able to explore depths of the undersea world of The Living Coast, and experiencing the rich diversity of marine life of our unique chalk reef - without ever getting wet!

The Living Coast Undersea Experience allows everyone to do just that.

TLC Undersea Experience is an interactive and immersive, virtual reality experience - modelled on the 'Beachy Head West' Marine Conservation Zone (which runs along the coast between Brighton Marina and Beachy Head).

Since spring 2019, TLC Undersea Experience has been touring primary schools and community venues to raise awareness of the marine environment and the role that people can play in looking after it. Over 2,000 people have benefited from this learning experience since April.

This important project was produced by us, KP-Projects, and digital artist Simon Wilkinson, and was made possible with the support of National Lottery Heritage Fund, National Marine Aquarium Trust and the Sussex Community Foundation Rampion Fund.

But we need further support to enable us to continue to take this unique and profound learning experience to more communities in Sussex - and beyond.

If you've visited and enjoyed TLC Undersea Experience this summer and been inspired - or just want to support us in using cutting-edge technology to deliver truly effective environmental education and inspire the next generation of conservation and environment activists - then please support us by making a small donation today.

Thank you for your support!
