Story

PLEASE READ UPDATE BELOW!

We have reached our goal of £5000, thank you one and all 🙏

The above photo is of Jodie (my great niece) with her children Codie 9 and Liliah 3, it was taken on Jodie‘s 30th birthday on the 8th of June this year. Little did she know that two weeks later -after an appointment at the optician on 22nd June -that she would have her world turned upside down. She was referred to opthalmology then neurology on the same day, and only then after 2 CT scans, did they discover that she had a ‘mass’ on her brain. After many more scans and visits to Queen Elizabeth in Glasgow was she told that she has a stage 4 astrocytoma. The reason for starting this page is to raise funds for Jodie to either help with further treatment or to send Jodie, Codie & Lilah on a much needed break after her radiotherapy and chemotherapy which starts this week. Please please share this page, donate what you can and help this family fight this dreaded disease. Thank you Liz 🙏

UPDATE - Jodie is now at the end of her third week of Radiotherapy at the Beatson in Glasgow, she is also on oral chemotherapy. As you can imagine this is taking its toll on her and she is extremely tired.

THE FIGHT GOES ON 👊

Jodie is a fighter and keeping positive, we are all behind her ❤️
