I decided to join the Hope City Academy shortly after finishing my Degree. Building the church has been in my family all my life and I always knew it was a part of who I am. This year I am dedicating a year of my life to learning more about who God is, what He has planned for his church and how I can be a part of it. The Academy will equip me to be a leader in the church and in the workplace and will include both biblical and spiritual teaching as well as practical life and leadership skills.

In March of every academy year the students are sent to various places around the world to build the community and spread God's love. Last year the team went to Alicante to work with a local church completing youth and young adult projects in the local community. My fundraising campaign will help me to finance this year and the mission trip I will be taking part in and help to impact people's lives. The fees for the year cost £2000 and the mission trip cost £600. Any funds raised will help to finance these two costs and help me to grow and develop as a leader in the church and community.
