Story
In February 2017 I visited Dr Rosemary Groom whose work I have much admired for over 20 years. She has made a significant contribution to protecting Wild Dogs (also known as Painted Wolves) in Zimbabwe through the African Wildlife Conservation Fund. I took up the role as Chair of AWCF UK last year. AWCF have made a huge impact on increasing wild dog numbers and one of the ways they have done this is by working with schools (123 of them!) to improve education and discourage poaching. I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise much needed funds to continue thier conservation work in Schools. For more information visit http://africanwildlifeconservationfund.org/
