My lovely wife Liz recently died from a cancer related illness. This is her last photograph, blissfully unaware and happy to be with me in Solothurn. We were married for 41 years, she was my soulmate.

Friends have kindly offered to donate money to a charity of my choice. I have chosen Alike. This is a charity set up by my nephew, Bradley Gudger, to help families effected in the aftermath of this terrible illness. “Bradders” is no stranger to the illness and thought of the idea for the charity during his successful fight for survival. He was lucky. He had the love and support of a devoted partner, Dominic; courageous brother, Lewis; loving parents Paula and Neil; a large, loving and supportive family, Liz and I included; and many loving friends. Not everyone is so lucky, and I would ask that you donate to the charity to help others effected.
