This year i've decided to raise money by entering Velo Birmingham & Midlands on the 12th of May. As a way of challenging myself and in a bid to raise money for a charity close to home. The event is a 100 mile bike ride on closed roads through Birmingham and Coventry in one day.

In October 2017 after losing the family Labrador Dan a few months earlier, we felt it was time to fill the void he left. We came across Hope 2 Hounds who intoduced us to Frank the yellow lab and we've never looked back since. The sense of reward from adopting a dog, and giving them a new life is second to none!

Hope 2 Hounds are a non-profit organisation set up to help hounds in need of new homes. They help to rehome dogs that are in the pounds in Cyrpus as they are only given 15 days to be rehomed before they are put to sleep through no fault of their own. To bring a dog over from Cyprus to the UK will cost around £400, which includes all necessary documentaion, vet bills vaccinations and travel costs and adopts fees are only a fraction of this.
