I've raised £2000 to conserve historic churches

Historic churches are special spaces worth conserving. Be it a spectacular town centre church dripping in ornamentation, or the quiet simplicity of a norman village church, each has something to offer. Architectural and social histories, spaces in which communities have gathered for centuries, or simply a quiet space for contemplation away from the crowds.
Together with my friend and colleague Adam Klups, DAC Secretary at Gloucester Diocese, I will be walking the Camino Ingles this April. 118km across Spain, arriving in Santiago de Compostela on Easter Sunday.
I'm raising money for the three Historic Churches Trust which support the repair and conservation of churches across the diocese of Oxford, the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust, the Berkshire Historic Churches Trust and the Buckinghamshire Historic Churches Trust.
We will be posting updates on Instagram, so please follow @ adam_and_liz_walking_to_santiago to check on our progress!
Thanks for contributing to the conservation of our shared heritage.
