One man, one thousand miles. Beginning on September 27th, I will be walking an astounding 1000 miles over the Pyrenees mountains from southern France to western Spain! I’ll be trekking on the world-renowned Camino de Santiago de Compostela, and then I’ll be walking all the way back!

Some would say I’ve lost the plot, others would say I never had it, but after having just graduated, I wanted to do something truly challenging and rewarding before entering the big wide job world. So, naturally I thought of going for a three month pilgrimage walk!

My aim is to raise £2,000 – half of all the funds raised will go towards the trip, and the other half will go directly to Guide Dogs for the Blind UK, a fantastic charity that does some really great work. In the UK, there are close to two million people living with sight loss, a large number of which feel isolated and trapped in their homes. Living without one of your five senses is impossible to imagine, and it's probably something most of us take for granted, so I have chosen to raise for Guide Dogs to give those with sight loss a restored quality of life. It costs £27,300 to train a guide dog, so please dig deep and help a truly deserving cause!
