Story

At Llandudno Cricket Club, we are a central pillar to our community. We work with local primary, secondary and special needs schools to attract new people to the sport we love!

We have a team of dedicated volunteers who provide hours of their own time to help children learn through cricket. They give up their time to coach, develop and inspire young people in the community to reach their full potential, using cricket as the primary tool. Cricket teaches team work, communication, leadership skills as well as introducing people to new groups and forming friendships.

This is getting harder and harder for them to do. Over recent years, our facilities have been battered by storms and vandalism, leaving them in a state that is unfit for purpose. Despite their enthusiasm and dedication, inspiration becomes harder to inspire when the tools we use are not up to standard.

In March we will complete a sponsored walk with juniors, parents, senior players and coaches to start our season off. We will be walking from Craig-y-Don paddling pool, around the Orme and finishing back at the clubhouse.

Then in September, we have set ourselves our biggest challenge to date...
