Llanrumney United and all associated would like to send our deepest thoughts, prayers, and best wishes to our very own ‘Rolls Royce’ of football, Mr. Omar Gomez.

We are hoping to raise some funds to give to the family to help support expenses and recovery for Omar. As everyone knows hospital stays are expensive and a little support can help alleviate the pressure at such a trying time further to this tragic incident.

Omar suffered a serious injury during his final Youth League game last week, resulting in both a broken tibia and fibula, along with extensive muscle damage known as a really serious condition called 'Compartment Syndrome'. Omar has had five operations so far in order to try and rectify the damage caused but has been unsuccessful so far. Today Omar is being transferred to a specialist unit in Swansea to receive further treatment and further surgeries.

We are truly heartbroken for you, Omar. Please know that the entire club and associates stand behind you — we’re here to support you in every possible way as you navigate this challenging time.
