Lack of support is one of the main reasons many mothers stop breastfeeding before they want to. We’ll use your money to support mothers and babies and help them meet their breastfeeding goals.

Hi, I'm Kerry, listed solo Leader at LLL Chelmsford. In our first year, I supported mothers across Essex in over 300 helping situations ranging from our local group meetings to social media support, text message, local calls and the charity's national helpline. At our Chelmsford group, donations have allowed us to stock a library of books to lend to mothers on topics in line with our philosophy and we have a number of paid members; mothers who have generously given funds to pay forward the support they received. But we now need to secure the future of the group by raising funds and spreading the word about the support we offer and the costs we have to cover.

All our Leaders are volunteers and sign an annual statement of commitment to serve the organisation and to never profit personally from their Leader role. The National Charity has only two part-time paid employees, all other personnel are volunteers, including the Council of Directors and Trustees. So you can be sure all funds raised are going right to the families who need our timely support. Thank you.
