Story
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) it is estimated that 1 in 6 men in Jamaica will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. If caught early, this can be effectively treated. However, to do this, access to Men's Health Care Facilities must be improved on a local and national level. Ferron's Health Clinic needs your support to help to build a drop in health clinic for Prostate Cancer screening and educating men about this disease, the signs they should look out for and where they can get assistance if they are diagnosed.
LLOYD FERRON,S AIM
I aim to build a drop in health clinic which will be addressing Prostrate Cancer in Jamaica. this will be built in the parish of Saint Cathrine by 2023.
I would like to collaborate with other health agencies across Jamaica to help improve education in men,s health.
furthermore, i would like to form partnerships nationally and internationally to raise awareness of prostrate Cancer across local communities.
to do this, i need £15,000 and will be investing £7,500 to achieve my goal.
