Story

Every year I volunteer across the world with the charity called ADRA. ADRA works in more than 130 countries to bring long-term development programs to communities around the world.

One of these programs is the 'ADRA connections' where a group of volunteers not only raise money for the development projects but also we get to help out first hand in the projects you help fund!

This year, with your help, I aim to go to Lobamba Lomdzala in Swaziland! The population of Lobamba Lomdzala is estimated to be around 5,000 people, with around 400 orphans and vulnerable children, due mainly to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

In terms of educational infrastructure, the community has one 1 high school, 2 primary schools and 1 pre-school.

The goal of this Connections project is to provide high-quality pre-school education to poverty-stricken children in the Lobamba, Lomdzala community of Swaziland.

The school will provide learning to approximately 50 children each year and the parents/guardians of children will pay a minimum amount as tuition. This will ensure the sustainability of the project.

Lets make this happen!
