The Lochawe Community Defibrillator, located at the Ben Cruachan Inn was fundraised, installed by the owners and team at the Ben Cruachan Inn.

The replacement pads to keep this vital piece of equipment functional have expired and require replacement as soon as possible.

The defib has been sent out twice this year to St Conan's Kirk and Lochawe Hotel, fortunately the unit was not required in both cases but shows how vital it is to have one in this remote area where Scottish Ambulance Service response can be up to 40 minutes away.

Our team are trained to use this vital piece of kit and are committed to assisting in any emergency whether it be in our Inn, the village or further away.

The closest defib is located at Dalmally Hall nearly 3 miles away.

We are raising £194.40 for the replacement pads urgently and £360.00 for a new battery to be replaced next year. We thank you for your support in advance
