Story
We are asking you to help us raise £2,500 to help pay costs associated with the 19th annual 16-day March Lochwinnoch Arts festival ,run by volunteers on a non-profit basis. We are asking for support as at short notice we are unable to use our village hall and due to this, we have had to move a number of events to smaller venues, drastically reducing the seating capacity and income. Like many small rural communities, we are disadvantaged by having insufficient and unreliable public transport to access the arts in towns or cities like Paisley or Glasgow. The festival aims to provide a host of art experiences for people on low incomes, and who do not have a car.
With your help we can continue to keep the Lochwinnoch art experience affordable to our fragile rural community.

4 years agoDear All We managed to deliver four of our events at the festival before the goverment guidlines to cancel all social contact events. Can we thank you for your support we have to pay up front costs and media and advertising costs. We will use any remaining money to deliver the festival in 2021. Can we thank you so much for amazing support and kindness. Let's hope we are all well and can get together at many cultural events in the future.
