Story
Lock Lane Rugby Club and Community Sports Centre is a "not for profit" organisation primarily run by volunteers. It has over 250 children ages 7 upwards playing rugby league and supports sport and health related fitness in the local community. Following a fire in our boiler house we managed to save the clubhouse but urgently require funds towards repairs so that we can get hot water for showers and heating running again. Hot showers are vital for kids after a hard muddy rugby match and the lack of showers could result in cancelled matches just at the start of the new season. The last two seasons have already been severely interrupted by covid and we want to make this season as normal as possible for all our youngsters.
