I am going back out to Uganda in 3 months to volunteer for a charity called Hands for Hope. Hands for Hope rehabilitate children and young people who live on the streets. They offer invaluable support by providing food and shelter, offering education and ensuring health services are accessible for free. I will be going out for 10 weeks as a nurse working in the slums providing free health check ups and emergency treatment. All money raised will be used to support the work of Hands for Hope so that they are able to provide the services above. For example, this money can be used to transport children to hospital to get necessary check ups such as HIV, Dental and Eye Clinics.
