Story
January 2015 Lois was diagnosed with Scoliosis (curvature of the spine). On April 15th 2015, Lois was admitted to the children's ward, James Cook University Hospital and under the expertise of her surgeon Mr Hekal, underwent corrective surgery. Mr Hekal really is an unsung hero, along with his team they inserted two titanium rods into her spine, resulting in the two curves being greatly reduced. Lois would in some small way like to thank Mr Hekal for his dedication, commitment and hard work and therefore will take part in the annual Redcar Boxing Day Dip. Which is also her 16th birthday!
