I've raised £5000 to Support Victims of Turkey Earthquake

London Cycling Club also known as Londra Bisiklet Kulübü want to help children affected by the earthquake in Turkey
WHY YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
Following two huge earthquakes have hit Turkey and Syria, over 50.000 people have been killed and over 100.000 people injured. These figures continue to rise because it’s believed that tens of thousands of people are still trapped beneath the rubble. Over 13 million people effected and so many people lost their homes.
Tens of thousands of earthquake victims living in shelter settlements where safe play spaces is absent for children. Every children have right to have safe place to engage in play and recreational activities that nurtures children's happiness and wellbeing, equips them with social and emotional skills, builds their resilience and creativity, and helps them thrive. Humanitarian aids and efforts focus on urgent needs, little has been done to provide safe play and learning environment for kids.
Londra Bisiklet Kulübü, British Alevi Youth Federation and local organisations in effected areas get together to start a pilot project to address this issue and set up a safe play area and donate bicycles for children in effected region. Art therapy will be used to enable children to express their feelings, anxieties and help them to tackle traumatic earthquake experiences
Any donation, big or small, matters right now.
