Story

In July 2023, Gavins son Lorcan was born with a condition called Achondroplasia. This is the most common form of dwarfism. As a result of this, Lorcan needed to spend his first 19 days in the Neonatal ICU unit at St Peters hospital. The team there were amazing in looking after Gavin, Emma and Lorcan during their stay. They do unbelievable work every day in difficult circumstances, and we want to raise some funds to help fund new equipment/help make parents stays more comfortable. Lorcan is a happy and healthy baby who just turned 7 months. We are also raising money for Tommys to support their research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.

To raise these funds, Gavin and Simon will be walking from Brentford FC's (Emmas team) Gtech stadium to AFC Wimbledons (Gavs team) Plough lane ground. On the way, we will be walking via every football league ground in London. The route will be Brentford - QPR - Fulham - Chelsea - Arsenal - Tottenham Hotspur - Leyton Orient - West Ham - Millwall - Charlton - Crystal Palace - Sutton United - Afc Wimbledon. The route is 60 miles long and should take about 24 hours. We will be setting off at midday from Brentford, aiming to arrive at Plough lane the following day in time for Wimbledons game against Salford FC.

Every penny donated will make a huge difference to these two amazing charities. Thank you in advance for every donation to the cause.
